We are a winery with organic certification, grounded in the union of tradition and modernity, driven by our love for the land.
By selecting our grapes with passion and meticulous care, we produce wines of great quality, with the typical flavors of Reggio Emilia.
The vineyards are cultivated with care and without the aggressive use of fertilizers and herbicides. The same attention is given during the harvest, where clusters that have reached perfect ripeness are manually selected and brought to our cellar, where an ancestral process of spontaneous fermentation begins.
Every stage of production is carried out in an artisanal manner.
The old vineyards have been replaced with more modern and convenient systems that allow for better maturation of the product. In the GDC vineyards, careful manual pruning is carried out, and the grape varieties selected are the most suitable for producing traditional Reggio Emilia wines.
We grow Spergola, Ancellotta, Lambrusco Maestri, Lambrusco Salamino, Marzemino Emilia, Trebbiano, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Alongside the rows, we have planted antique roses, which not only beautify the landscape but also serve as an “early warning” system for potential pest infestations.
The climatic conditions of the hillside allow for the vine’s vegetative cycle to develop optimally, producing grapes in moderate quantities but of excellent quality.
The company covers 3.5 hectares of land, with 18,000 square meters cultivated with vineyards, yielding about 200 quintals of wine. A portion is sold in bulk, while the rest is bottled on-site, with a limited annual production of around 13,000 bottles.
